The unsung heroes of our society are teachers.

Teachers are very important to shaping the future, but they are often not paid enough or recognized. Even so, a lot of teachers still go the extra mile for their kids.

Being like Jonathan Oliver, a PE teacher at Georgia’s WG Nunn Elementary School, is a great thing. He helped Kristen Paulk, a kindergartener, put her hair back in a bun during a basketball game without expecting anything in return.

Oliver’s kind act was caught on camera by his teacher Kandice Anderson, and it went viral on YouTube very fast. “When your job goes beyond teaching!” was a movie that showed how dedicated teachers like Oliver are.

Oliver was shocked by all the notice in an interview with Good Morning America. He said, “We all do it.” “We want our students to feel at home and loved.”

Oliver, a father of three, has helped style his daughters’ hair before, but he laughed that anything more complicated was her job.

Miyah Cleckley, Kristen’s mom, was moved by the film. It made her feel better to know that Oliver was taking good care of her daughter.

In a heartwarming story, teachers show how they help their kids in many ways. Oliver’s teachers show that their job is more than just teaching. They also coach and guide students.

Their commitment and lack of selfishness make them real heroes. Talk about this moving story with your friends and family to remember everyone how much teachers mean to us.

Oliver and other teachers like him tell us that school isn’t just about learning facts; it’s also about caring for and helping the next generation.
