Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s Son Makes Rare Public Appearance at World Series — Connor Cruise, 31, Draws Attention

Connor Cruise, 31, the adopted son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, made a rare public appearance at Game 4 of the 2026 World Series at Tropicana Field on 27 October 2026, watching the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Milwaukee Brewers in a comeback win. He celebrated with friends and shared a group selfie on Instagram captioned “You gotta believe!”

The selfie drew attention precisely because his public outings are so rare. Followers praised his look, others quickly turned to talking about his famous parents, and some were surprised the former couple had a grown son at all. He made no statement about family matters — it was simply a night at the ballpark.

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman married in December 1990 after meeting on Days of Thunder and divorced in 2001. They adopted daughter Isabella in December 1992 and Connor in Florida on 17 January 1995, and after the split both children lived with their father. Sparse photos and reports about the children’s religious beliefs have fuelled speculation about their ties with their mother over the years.

Connor himself pushed back on that speculation in a 2014 interview, saying he loves his mum and insisting the relationship was strong, while Kidman has said she respects her older children’s beliefs and that her love is unconditional. Away from the spotlight, Connor has acted in Seven Pounds (2008) and Red Dawn (2012), released a DJ single in 2013, runs a barbecue venture called Connor’s Meatshack, and now lives a quiet Florida life centred on fishing, golf, cooking and friends. His sister Bella is now based in England with her own art and fashion projects.
